“If God would fare us well, with friends who'd walk through hell — there and back again to break the curse of our despair.”
Started in September 2025 by Sam Hirsch and Gavin Wolff, Midwest Samurai is a trio from the Midwest built on dedication, discipline, and service. Their indie alternative sound blends punk energy, hymnal depth, and tavern folk storytelling — music that fills a room and forces you to actually listen. Everything is done in-house. Every note is an expression of lived experience.
